In other news, I've decided to take of to Havana next week. I've been stuck in Vancouver for a while and I'm starting to get itchy feet. Do I really want to pay an extra 100$ to stay in the hotel Hemmingway lived in? Or stay in my cheap ass hostel for the whole 4 days. I am cheap, but at the same time I like nice things and I'm already paying an extra 50 bucks to sit in business class (well, not exactly. It also means that my priority (my name on the standby list goes on top so if there is limited seats I'll get one.))Also, Havana! Yay! I must spend all week memorizing phrases and looking up things to do. SO EXCITED!

Shockingly, yes. I picked up another job which pays a ton of money (at a constituency office - so basically I sit around and study while answering the odd phone call) and I had budgeted my year for only my air canada job.

I think that I'll do it if there is free breakfast/shuttle because that would offset the cost. Hmmmm.

i'm so jealous. i really want to go to havana. i have the money but not the time. :P i figure in spring i'll take a big trip somewhere. ooh, we should go together somewhere.

Boo. I wish you could come to Havana. It's the only week this term where I don't have an exam/paper due.

I hope so. I'm going to Argentina at Christmas, so I wouldn't want to do that again right away, but I'm pretty much good with anywhere as long as I can get flights (certain airlines don't let cons (uh, airline employees) bring guests on a pass.)

i'll have to think of this more when i'm not exhausted. i'm pretty much up for literally anywhere but the US or Canada.

That is a sad, sad life. Except for the party and Bob Dylan. My papers aren't due until the end of November, so I'm not quite at the panic stage yet. My midterms were last week though, and I almost died.

In general? I'm dying to go there, but not in the spring because apparently it's rainy season and it's sewer water up to your knees and everything is shut down. But if that's not the case, I think it would be awesome.

hmm, too bad about the weather. maybe we can figure something out. i would LOVE to go there.

must take nap, then think about this some more while watching obama kick mccain's ass.
